Introducing, Emery

A college assignment turned good idea. We had to draw an original character in two action poses. I could have used one of my already done characters, but chose not to.
Instead, I present to you, Emery!

He's a bit of an oddball, if it wasn't apparent. His race, the Jomon, aren't technically human; they have no belly buttons and are generally heavier, this is caused by their denser insides. (the bones, organs, etc.) Though the Jomon are very few in numbers, and dwindling.

Emery's design is based on the prehistoric Japanese figurines called the Dogu or Shakokidogu.

A nomad in nature, he'll be wandering the sand-driven wasteland of a yet unnamed continent. That is, until I work out a great story to place him in! But as people have told me, he's not really main character-material; so we'll see...
