I just felt like talking about a couple changes in the remake I found noteworthy.
-The Garo mask was changed to be the Garo Leader; I'm fine with this I guess, Purple and gold is always pretty cool. But The Gorman brothers are also wearing this redesign! I don't like that. I preffered them with the intimidating hoods and glowing eyes. Oh well.
-The Stone mask was moved, I'm looking for it now, (not gonna look it up until I get tired of looking.) But yeah, if you are well versed in the original, Don't freak out.
-What you should freak out about is the fact that the Gorman brothers' fence doesn't pop up once you talk to Cremia on night 2, it will just be there all night!
-It's trickier to snatch up the Inn's reserved room. This isn't really too bad, as you can still break in at night with Deku, but I guess it's less convenient than just using the front door at all hours.
-Fishing Holes. Meh.
-The Happy Mask Salesman gives you the Bomber's Notebook... Okay... atleast it's got even more stuff to fill out, or technically speaking, it just records more of the npcs than the original.
-You get the song of Soaring earlier. Nothing to complain about there! Additionally, there's also more save statues, these ones aren't Owls though, so they are just for more saving location options.
-The Song of Double Time has been altered to let you leap forward in time to your pleasure.
-Lastly, the Bank is now attached to the back of the Clock Tower. Cheers!
Overall, the changes make sense from a design perspective, but some of them do make me squint at first. I just wish some of the masks had gotten more usefulness in the update. Like the Giant's mask, you don't even need to use it in the only boss it's meant for. :/
